About Rob Branham

The Ad Club established the annual scholarship program in honor of Rob Branham who was a long time broadcaster and sales executive in CT. Rob did on-air work at WPOP, WWYZ , and other stations in CT. He was an Account Executive at WDRC, WPOP, WFSB, WTNH and WTIC TV.

Rob was liked and respected by all that knew him. He was a caring, honest fun-loving individual who regularly went out of his way to help others. In the early 90's Rob was diagnosed with leukemia. He had a successful bone marrow transplant in the summer of 1993 but complications set in. He returned to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston in late summer of 1993 but passed away in October of that year. Apply for the Rob Branham Scholarship
